Little robin redbreastsitting on the fence,
chirruping his tuneful song
though the snow is dense.
Hark! His song has altered
to a plaintive bleat –
little robin redbreast
cannot move his feet.

One Christmas our Siamese cat caught a Robin (just not the done thing), so this one got away lightly!
Thank you everyone for taking the trouble.
Luckily my daughter managed to free the noisy little fecker with some fizzy tangerine though not before she did a quick sketch that she intends to send off to Hallmark.
